There isn’t a lot of information about Acrobatic dance so therefore I was going to change my essay question to “Where does gymnastics floor routines stop and Acrobatic dance begin?” then I realised that to have this information would help me include more information about what my original essay plan was. Also, I asked Helena about the research and where I can get it from and she said that even if I only used magazines, interviews, books and video clips on one half of my essay then I would still get the same amount of points on my research and I don’t have to do all of that for the other half and could just use the internet to find the information I need.
Overall, my outcome is that I have decided to keep my original essay question and topic but just do as much as I can with the resources that I can get.
I have being doing some research and I have thought about doing my essay as comparison rather then finding the specific  difference between them because they are so similar.

Here is what I have researched for Gymnastics:

Google (no date) Available at: https://www.google.co.uk/#q=what+does+ancient+world+mean (Accessed: 23 January 2017).
This is just on the webpage and the first thing that pops up on the screen so there isn’t a date for the page and so I can’t put one in for the Harvard referencing. This therefore means I don’t know if the information is still relevant because I don’t know the date of the site.

Here is what I have researched for Acrobatic Dance:

– This picture was given to me by Helena from a Newspaper, she was asking whether I would be able to know whether it’s Acrobatic Dance or Gymnastics just by looking but I wasn’t able to. I made an educated guess that it would be acrobatic dance because it looks as if she has just finished a routine of moves and is finishing with a split leap.
However, I was incorrect. In fact she is a Chinese gymnast. She is executing a split jump.
(This is a Chinese gymnastic clip – I watched it because I thought there could be a difference to British gymnastics but I don’t think that there is. I just assume that the structure of the class is different. However, what I have noticed is that Chinese gymnasts are trained more flexibility more so that British gymnasts.
